We had a full coach and a lovely sunny day in Wells in October, the last trip of the year.
We looked around the Bishops Palace and its beautiful gardens, then after lunch we divided into groups to tour the Cathedral or take a trip to the top of the tower, the ‘high parts’ tour.
After tea provided by the Friends of Wells, we enjoyed the evensong service, partly sung in Russian, before making our way home.
